Experience The Exquisite Sound Quality Of The E3c Shure Headset
by siew nikolopoulos - Friday, 7 December 2007, 11:17 AM
Anyone in the world

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Rene_Tse]Rene Tse Sipping a Chai Latte and glancing at the other patrons talking to themselves I just had to laugh. All these new fangled phone head sets make people look like a crazy babbler or an alien with wires protruding out of their heads and my friend Ronnie's no exception. Seeing him saunter into the coffee shop I expected to hear dialogue about some new real estate deal booming from his mouth instead I heard the phrase, "You can hear me. I mean you can really hear me?" The surprise radiating from his face was reassuring considering the countless commercials I've seen with people in deserted fields in the middle of nowhere shouting into a cell phone, "Can you hear me, can you hear me" the invariable yes occurs on the commercial, but in reality the call is dropped and no one is heard. The hands free headsets only complicate the perceived loss of hearing if you ask me. Of course when they do their job right headsets are a blessing freeing one's hands to do other needed tasks. Finishing the last of my Chai Latte I watched Ronnie talk to his caller and continue to express the joy of being heard. I mean it's what we all want in life, right? Someone who hears us; I mean really listens. Maybe Ronnie has found a little part of the secret to life. I ordered another Chai Latte and a Chitico (Rich Hot Chocolate) for Ronnie. Cleaning up the stack of newspapers at my table by the fireplace I motioned for him to join me, which he did with this Cheshire grin on his face as he wrapped things up with the caller. Ronnie relayed the woes of using various head sets. He mentioned how one headset, which came with his old cell phone didn't work at all, how another one did, but developed a strange whistle sound, which he never heard, but his callers did. They found it so annoying some took to calling him Whistling Ronnie, which he wasn't too happy about. The admission of this incident sent me laughing hysterically and spewing coffee on the table. When I cleaned up the spilled Chai Latte I heard all about the headset Ronnie referred to as the "Heavy Breather". Using that one callers heard his breathing or what sounded like breathing, which could just as likely have been caused by static from a poor connection. Ronnie also shared a tail about a headset he nicknamed the "Ear Vice", which he likened to some medieval torchure chamber. I laughed and laughed and said, "If you hate head sets so much why do you bother using them?" "Safety. They free my hands to do other things like drive, work, eat, drink, enjoy life. You know just the small things, Rene." Looking at Ronnie's Treo 600 Smart phone sitting on the table I said, "So how's their head set?" " Rene, nothing worth mentioning." "It's that bad?" "Yes. With all my other cell phone head set disasters and the Treo's disappointment I've turned to the professionals." Taking off his earpiece and showing it to me, he said, "This is a cell phone headset called OuietSpot by Shure. These folks have been producing sound equipment for over seventy eight years for the music industry. This head set is my Mercedes and Porsche it's that good Rene. The sound quality is incredible. When I'm having a conversation I'm on my own island. I don't hear the background noice just the person I'm talking to. It's the way a conversation is supposed to be. The sound is so precise." "Ronnie, how can they assure such sound quality?" "Their microphone uses what they call background noise canceling technology, which is based on their renown professional stage microphones. With this technology conversations come in clear all the time no matter where you are." "Ronnie, I take it since this is your Mercedes and Porsche, we're talking serious cash." "Not all. Shure's QuietSpot headset is only $49.95. Visit the www.shure.com and replace your Treo headset, please. Our last conversation on the way over here I caught every third word you said." "Oh, it was that bad?" "Yes, Rene." "Is the QuietSpot comfortable for long conversations?" "Yes. It's made my business life more efficient and it's been a boost to my social life too." "Ronnie, what can I do for sound with my IPOD?" My friend got the Cheshire grin on his face again and said, "So you're into music now. What is it Rock and Roll or classics?" "Just help me out here, please. The sound protruding from my son's head set is atrocious. When I tried to listen to Opera I heard background interference." "You and your son both need to stop using the Apple white duds, I mean earbuds. I used their for a while with my own IPOD and they are as bad as the cheap freebie cell phone head sets. I'm using Shure's E3C for my IPOD and I'm real happy with it. The E3C resides inside the ear canals. This design blocks 20 decibels- plus ff of environmental noise. Listening to music with it I feel like I'm on my own concert island. If you close your eyes it can be. Isn't that the way good music is supposed to be taking you to a place where only song and sound exist?" "Ronnie, you're waxing a bit philosophical today." "So will you Rene, when you try it out, you'll see this in-ear model is incredible and it's white earpiece matches the IPOD." "That figures, Mr. Stylish. But is it comfortable, Ronnie?" "Yes and it's only $179." "Thanks Ronnie. I hope you can clarify something. My sister's been raving about Shure's E5C saying it has some sort of a high low frequency, which is perfect for my son's taste in music. But my son told me it's not good if I want to listen to jazz." "They are both right. Shure's E5C model is $499 and is designed for musicians to wear as onstage monitors. What your sister is describing is the drivers worn in each ear. In principle it's kind of like stick shifting. One frequency is reserved for low and another one is for high frequencies. There's also crossover channeling for all frequencies. With the E5C you'll experience spectacular sound. Listening to music with this high-low frequency in your eardrums instead of a concert island you'll have your own musical world. It's that precise. With orchestrated and fine tuned sound like this you'll find the volume on your IPOD going down compared to other headphones. Mine's been averaging at one-third and before it was two-thirds the volume." "Are there other earphones well suited for different kinds of music?" "Yes. The E5C is great for pop music songs with powerful bass and background vocals. But I like my E3C for jazz, classical, folk songs, and other recordings where acoustics play a central role. The Etymotic E4P model is also great for acoustics. It's $330.00. One of the guys I work has been real happy with his E4P and says it's fabulous for listening to acoustic music. He likes a lot of meditational type music. I borrowed his E4P one day when we took a business trip up North and I forgot to pack my E3C. In the quiet of the hotel the high end clarity of Etymotic's model was impressive. Listening to calming songs I emerged in a bit of a trance. But, when I took my IPOD outside on the patio still wearing the Entymotic E4P the sound precision went down hill. I heard a little bit of the background noice." "What about looks?" "I like Shure's approach with the little white earpieces matching the IPOD. Etymotic's is a bit too showy for my taste with the black cables and bright blue and red color coded strain reliefs on the shafts." "What about earphones that aren't in your ears?" "You might want to consider Sony's MDR-G82. It's a traditional neckband style with a full-cup headphone cradling your ear. It offers great sound for bass-heavy Rock and Roll. The G82 full-ear cups are very comfortable and sleek looking in silver and black. It also folds down to the size of a tangerine." Ronnie stared at the ends of my pants and got this Cheshire grin on his face and said, "Now about those Dockers you're wearing..." "They're not Dockers. They're designer pants. I got on sale." "Oh, really, Rene." Same old Ronnie. Mortgage Marketing - How to Earn More Business From Realtors(r)
by siew nikolopoulos - Thursday, 6 December 2007, 10:19 AM
Anyone in the world

By Jeffrey Nelson Is your marketing strategy getting the results you desire? Mailing postcards, handing out flyers, giving out your business card, and referring real estate agents to your website are forms of marketing activity, but does that mean its effective? Being effective first means understanding how marketing to real estate agents works. Otherwise, youre practicing the definition of insanity - Doing the same thing repeatedly,
each time expecting a different result. Let me share a powerful illustration of marketing: If the circus is coming to town and you paint a sign saying, Circus is coming to Fairgrounds Sunday, thats Advertising.
If you put the sign on the back of an elephant and walk him through town, thats a Promotion.
If the elephant walks through the Mayors flowerbed, thats Publicity.
If you can get the Mayor to laugh about it, thats Public Relations.
And, if you planned the whole thing, thats Marketing!
- Author Unknown Crafting a Bulletproof Marketing Plan Do you enjoy rendering service, helping people live the American dream and adding income to an Agent's bank account? I suppose two out of three isn't bad, is it? If you're passionate about helping others, crafting a marketing plan is possible when you learn and understand the key components, which I call the 4 P's. Planning Planning is the foundation from which you build your marketing. The process helps yield decisions on how you can compete best. By taking the time to properly plan you can avoid many of the common mistakes loan officers make in creating an overall marketing strategy. Creating a marketing plan is a formal process of describing the type of relationships you want to attract, how many you want to attract and how you will attract them. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know what you have to concentrate on to do it. You also know what is merely a distraction. Positioning A position is a place in your prospects mind. You use positioning as a communication tool to reach targeted Agents in an information-overloaded marketplace. By narrowing your focus you can build a position as a specialist or expert in their mind. This increases the chances of your marketing message cutting through the noise. Instead of competing with every loan officer in your town, youve created a niche specialty in which you can become recognized as an expert over time. Positioning is your competitive strategy for getting noticed. One of the most profound statements made on the subject of positioning comes from Louis Carrolls Alice In Wonderland. When Alice asks the Cheshire Cat which path to take, he responds, If you dont care where youre going, it doesnt make a difference which path you take. Give your marketing plan better focus, or else your service will be perceived as coming from a multi-headed creature -speaking from many mouths, saying nothing and going nowhere. Packaging Often, its your materials that Agents come across and gives them their first impression. Perceptions are formed from the quality of your materials that promote your services. Packaging is your opportunity to build a personal brand identity with Agents that theyll trust. Packaging that has been professionally designed conveys that youre established, especially important if youre new in the industry. You can shape an Agent's perception to increase credibility, give a sense of stability and most importantly - to make your brand more memorable. Promoting Promoting your services is what gives your brand identity visibility and credibility. To attract quality relationships you desire, Agents must become familiar, comfortable and feel that youre trustworthy. If youre invisible, nobody is thinking of you. Promoting is your opportunity to repeat yourself visually. A Grammy winner never won the award from their fans hearing the song one time. They won because their fans heard their song repeatedly. Once youve determined a position within a niche specialty, your goal is to promote it through every medium that reaches your targeted audience. Become an Agent Magnet In its simplest terms, its about knowing which problems that you can solve for Agents and then targeting the Agents who have those problems. The more painstaking the problem you can solve, the better magnetism you have in your marketing. If you chase Agents, theyll always feel they have the upper hand. By incorporating the 4 Ps into your marketing and way of thinking, soon youll have Agents hunting for your services. Thinking About Naturalizing - Here's A Good Reason To Do It As Soon As Possible
by siew nikolopoulos - Wednesday, 5 December 2007, 03:44 PM
Anyone in the world

By Justin Randolph The importance of seeking US citizenship. If there is one thing I stress to my clients who have recently become lawful permanent residents its the importance of becoming a US Citizen if he or she intends to stay in the United States. I have received many calls from prospective clients who are long-time permanent residents that have gotten themselves into a bit of trouble and are at risk of being deported from the only home they have known for decades and separated from their children and spouses. The reason I make sure my clients are thinking about this issue even though they have just become permanent residents is that as a resident you have far less rights than a US Citizen. In fact, other than basic due process rights under the US Constitution your life in the United States is dictated by the political winds blowing through Washington D.C. at any given moment and those change frequently. The provisions of the 1996 IIRAIRA bill have had devastating effects on many lawful permanent residents and their families by removing relief and creating new grounds for removal which were retroactive. In other words, lawful permanent residents were (and are) being removed for acts they committed, or at least said they committed as part of a plea agreement, years ago. The perfect example of this is HR4437 passed by the House of Representatives this year. This ridiculously harsh bill not only makes it an aggravated felony to be in the United States without status (either you entered illegally or you fell out of status at some point) it also makes anyone who assists a person who is here without status an aggravated felon as well. This is not only applicable to smugglers as the bill has a separate penalties for those who are assisting the undocumented or out of status for profit. This bill also applies to family members, clergy, attorneys, anyone that may do something (arguably anything as the language of the bill is very broad) that causes the individual to stay in the United States while out of status. As mixed status families (families with some undocumented members and members who are in the US legally) are common this could create a situation where not only does the undocumented worker get removed from the US but the family members who are permanent residents may be charged with an aggravated felony and subject to removal as well. Being charged with an aggravated felony may preclude the family member from seeking any relief from removal and they may be removed no matter how long they have been in the United States. On the other hand, a US citizen cannot be removed from the United States (and would arguably be subject to prosecution as a felon but it's not clear how much of a realistic risk this is) and that is why it is important to pursue naturalization if you are eligible and if you intend to remain in the United States. Particularly in the sort of anti-immigrant climate we see today. Justin G. Randolph is a practicing immigration attorney in Chicago, Illinois and is a generally pleasant fellow. Should Parents EVER Leave an Inheritance Outright to a Child who has a Disability
by siew nikolopoulos - Tuesday, 4 December 2007, 01:49 PM
Anyone in the world

By L. Mark Russell There are few absolutes in estate planning, but this is one. If a child has a significant mental disability, the answer is parents should not leave an inheritance outright to a child with a significant mental disability. If the child has a significant mental disability then the child will obviously have difficulty managing the inheritance. And this inheritance is the child's last safety net -- so from a planning perspective parents generally want to be conservative and legally set up their estate plan to protect the inheritance. If the child inherits the money directly in his or her name the child will typically lose needs-based government benefits the big ones being Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid. With these needs-based government benefits the person with a disability can't own more than an extremely small amount of countable resources often no more than $2,000. So, if the child inherits money directly he or she will lose these very valuable government benefits. And if the child has been receiving government benefits before or after getting the inheritance, the state may actually try to seize the inheritance for health or residential cost-of-care claims. A properly drawn special needs trust solves all these problems. The special needs trust is a trust created for a beneficiary with a disability that is designed to provide for the needs of the beneficiary to qualify for needs-based government benefits such as Supplemental Security Income and Medicaid. Also referred to as a supplemental needs trust. In effect, the trust is a legal instrument that separates the responsibility of ownership of specific property from the benefit of ownership. The person who has responsibility of ownership, the trustee, manages the assets according to the instructions written in the trust agreement by the creator of the trust for the benefit of the beneficiary. The trustee derives no benefit from the trust property except compensation received for performing his or her duties. On the other hand, if the child has a physical disability with no mental impairment and the child never expects to need government benefits because he or she can work, in that case, a special needs trust wouldn't be necessary. But the saying "never say never" may apply to the planning process, because although the person with a physical disability may not need government benefits now, they may need benefits in the future if the physical disability gets worse when the person is older. The special needs trust is the most useful estate-planning tool available for providing future security for persons with disabilities. Copyright (c) 2007 L. Mark Russell Attorney L. Mark Russell, author of Planning For The Future, has advised hundreds of parents who have a child with a disability. A Darker Side of Indoor Tanning
by siew nikolopoulos - Tuesday, 27 November 2007, 01:57 PM
Anyone in the world

By Michael Russell So you want that healthy glow for the summer? Thinking about tanning to get it, right? But as we all have heard too much sun can cause skin cancer and skin aging. But that's ok, we can tan indoors. Sadly, a lot of people still think that tanning indoors at tanning salons is a safe alternative to getting your tan from the sun. Unfortunately they are dead wrong. Indoor tanning consists of lying down in a clamshell style tanning bed and lights from above and below the body are used to give you the tan. A lot of the older beds use UVB lights to give you the desired affect. UVBs are short wave ultraviolet rays that actually cause burning. More and more salon owners are becoming aware of the harmful effects of UVB radiation and are switching to UVA light source. UVAs are long wave ultraviolet rays. This is giving tanners a false sense of security. Because of this change of light source tanners are feeling it is safe to continue their dangerous habit. While UVA rays are less likely to cause burning than UVB rays, UVA rays are suspected to have links to malignant melanoma and immune system damage. UVA penetrate more deeply and can weaken the skin's inner connective tissue. Two types of skin cancer, basal cell cancer and squamous cell cancer are treatable if they are detected early. Melanoma, another type of skin cancer, can be fatal. Long-term exposure to the sun and to artificial sources of ultraviolet light like UVB and UVA rays contributes to the risk of developing skin cancer. Many studies have shown that too much exposure to UV rays, including UVA rays, can damage the retina. Overexposure can burn the cornea. And repeated exposure of UV rays over many years can change the structure of the lens, forming a cataract. If left untreated, cataracts can cause blindness. The FDA requires tanning salons to ask all customers to wear protective eye goggles. Some believe that closing your eyes, wearing ordinary sunglasses or using cotton balls protect you enough. They do not protect the eyes from the intensity of UV radiation in tanning beds. Long-term exposure to natural sunlight can also result in eye damage, but unlike in tanning beds, in the sun, people generally are more aware that their eyelids are burning. Under indoor tanning beds UV lights, exposed skin remains cool to the touch. Also, the intensity of the lights used in tanning beds is much greater - and potentially more damaging to the eyes - than the intensity of UV rays in natural sunlight. So let's be safe. Skin cancer can be preventable if the proper precautions are used. Don't use tanning beds. They are not safe. Is it really worth your life to get the healthy glow? There are many alternatives out there that do not involve the harmful UV rays to get the desired look. A word about sunscreens. If you spend some time in natural light it would be a good idea to use sunscreens with at least a SPF of 15. This will help protect you from UVBs. Some companies claim that they will protect from UVAs as well, but there is no way of telling how much because there is no system yet for rating UVA protection. Michael Russell

Israeli Folk Dance Reminds Me of Krishna's Rasa Dance
by siew nikolopoulos - Monday, 26 November 2007, 02:55 PM
Anyone in the world

By Victor Epand Some acquaintances of mine recently told me about how wonderful it was to go to what is known as the "Israeli folk dance" at the local synagogue where people of all ages get involved with this style of dancing. Since I was always shy and not really a dancer and also because I am not Jewish, I was reluctant to attend. They told me anyone could go. So I finally decided to take a peek one Sunday evening (after the local ISKCON temple program, ironically) to see what it was all about, just as a casual observer. While both locations were religious or spiritual institutions, each had their own unique atmosphere that were gulfs apart in terms of intent and ideology. I'm glad I went because while driving back home I had these incredible realizations that I would like to share with devotees. I entered the synagogue and to my surprise there were as many as 100 or more men and women of varying ages all participating in a folk dance that for the most part was very lyrical. The choreography and music was very refreshing and something I had never seen before. There were people from many walks of life and faiths. I thought to myself, how interesting. Interesting that this many people can come together and enjoy the social function of just dancing. My mind of course went to Krsna. I sat down and spent an hour or so just watching the different people dance and suddenly I thought of the "rasa dance" wherein Lord Krsna expands Himself into millions of duplicate forms and dances with millions of gopis and of course, His eternal beloved consort, Srimati Radharani. Everything began to make sense. This is what people need. Dance is the eternal function of the soul in every culture throughout the entire planet since the beginning of time. But this type of dancing was material, temporary, perhaps an ancient memory of the REAL, eternal dance, transcendental in nature. Israeli dance to me is a strange blend of Greek, traditional Israeli and even Russian dance steps that have a very elegant quality to it. Sometimes it's fast and modern, sometimes slow and classical. Whereas in modern dance, such as disco, country-western et al the main focus is sense gratification and sex desire, that is, men and women coming together to meet and mate, Israeli dance is somewhat different in that the dancers sometimes form circles and clap and have very unique dance steps. It's not overtly lusty. I wondered what Srila Prabhupada would make of all this and we all know that he would look at this from a pure Krsna conscious point of view. Fortunately, I could also. Of course, there were no deities. While the concept of bringing men and women together for such a social event may seem pleasing, it is primarily self-centered, in other words, it excluded the center of attraction, Lord Sri Krsna as the supreme enjoyer. I then wondered what ISKCON would have been like if Srila Prabhupada introduced this kind of temple worship where, rather than having men and women segregated as opposed to dancing together, would the movement have been more popular? Maybe it would because it would not have seemed like a "strict" religious movement. That is, popular in terms of a place where one can congregate without feeling alienated by institutional constraints. I then said to myself, no, this was not in keeping with the Vedic conclusions and Krsna consciousness in general and besides, men and women in the temple were eventually meeting and marrying anyway, dancing together or not. This would have gone against the original nature of the temple environment Srila Prabhupada established in keeping with the dictates for practicing pure Krsna consciousness. Krsna always had to be in the center, else, ISKCON would have degenerated into just another fad, another mundane religion. In fact, what makes Krsna consciousness so unique is that, to my knowledge it is the only spiritual movement that incorporates sankirtana, congregational dancing into their temple worship, whereas other religions tend to concentrate on singing hymns and listening to sermons. If there is dancing and food, it is usually a separate social function for fund-raising etc. Still, I enjoyed watching everyone dance and drove home feeling a sense of sadness for these souls caught up, as I sometimes am, in the modes of passion when their eternal rasa is to dance eternally with Krsna in Goloka, Vrndavana in the spiritual sky, their only real home. I also sensed that these dancers were very lonely. Krsna consciousness is not easy. But just as we became Krsna conscious, we must, as Srila Prabhupada often said, "Hope against hope," pray that one day they will also come to grips with the conclusions of the Vedas and join the progressive march back to Godhead to dance forever in their eternal rasa with Lord Sri Krsna. Anyone in the world

By Aaron Schwartz The development of human society is always accompanied by the development of different religious beliefs. Traditional view on the religious progress is regarded as the evolution of a certain religion beginning from the earliest signs and the most primitive forms of religious perception of the surrounding reality, such as animism, through polytheism to monotheism. The latter is considered by many researchers to be the last point of the development of any religion corresponding to the demand of the changing and more and more progressive world. But this thesis cannot be proclaimed as universal and absolutely undeniable because this idea has some opponents which do not agree that monotheism should be treated as the most progressive religious trend or as a symbol of the higher position of certain religion on different levels (spiritual, moral, etc.). At the same time, the discussion concerning the definition of these two notions is still under the question because if we take Hinduism, as an example, well find out that, despite the fact that this religion is traditionally defined as polytheistic, there are some researchers which estimate that monotheistic traces may be found even in this widely spread religion. In my work Im not going to start the argument whether Hinduism is polytheistic or monotheistic but I would rather focus my attention on more traditional side of this religion as well as I would also try to compare and contrast it with a monotheistic religion such as Islam. I strongly believe that it would be not only comparison of two religions but more than that it would be the comparison of two worlds, two philosophies and two ways of life. It would be particularly important if we take into account historical processes that influenced relations between adepts of Hinduism and Islam which resulted in severe contrast and opposition of two religions and now it is still a very serious problem because even modern India has the Kashmir conflict the solution of which is far from being found and one of the principle causes of the conflict is a religious opposition of Muslims and Hindis. From the very beginning I would like to give definitions to monotheism and polytheism which would serve as the basis for the further analysis of Islam and Hinduism. Traditionally, when we speak about monotheism we mean that people believe in one God whom they pray to and search for. Monotheistic worshipers usually worship a particularized form of their god and not his casual, unmanifest, formless aspect (Vidalб 1992, p.12). In the case of Islam such a unique God is Allah. By the way, the uniqueness of this notion is characterized by the word itself which from linguistic point of view doesnt have any direct correlations as well as it doesnt have gender. But any monotheism, including Islam has a contradiction by its nature, for denying any other gods but their only God (Allah) monotheistic religions presuppose the existence of false gods opposing to their true one that seems to be a bit illogical. As for polytheism, the adepts of Hinduism, for example, have multiple gods and even the hierarchy of gods whom they can pray to or whom they can worship but traditionally each individual worshiper has a chosen deity (ista-devata) and does not usually worship other gods in the same way as his own, as the one he feels nearer to himself. Yet he acknowledges other gods. The Hindu, whether he be a worshiper of the Pervader (Visnu), the Destroyer (Siva), Energy (Sakti), or Sun (Surya), is always ready to acknowledge the equivalence of these deities as the manifestations of distinct powers springing from an unknowable Immensity (Flood 1996, p. 43). So, for a Hindu it is extremely difficult to realize the possibility of existence of the only God whom he/she could worship or prayed to. It is beyond his/her understanding because the Hindu perceives other gods, which are not his/her, as various aspects of the god he/she worships. As a result, nand it is necessary to underline this fact, polytheists, such as adepts of Hinduism, are more tolerant in relation to other religions or gods and they wont proclaim Jihad (a sacred war) as Muslims sometimes do. Consequently, prosecution or proselytization of adepts of other religions can never exist in such a polytheistic environment as Hindu. It is also noteworthy that the difference between monotheism and polytheism, particularly between Islam and Hinduism, being evident, concerns not only religious aspect of life but philosophical, social, and, to some extent, economical. For example, when we analyze Islam we will learn that one of the cornerstones of this religion is based on the idea that all human beings are equal or, more precisely, were created equal. It means that there shouldnt be any superiority of one nation over others. According to norms of Islam, Allah doesnt favor people or nations due to their wealth, nationality or power. The only way people can deserve Allahs favor is through their virtue and life that would correspond to the Islamic tradition. Meanwhile, Hinduism influenced the whole social structure. For this polytheistic religion has a hierarchy of various gods which are involved in very complicated relations with each other, in the same manner their society is built and has a very strict, even rigid, social structure based on a caste system that divides people on several principal castes, namely, Kshatriya (ruling or warrior caste), Vaisya (common artisan and agricultural caste), and the Sudras (the low caste people). It is particularly important to underline that the highest caste comprises the Brahmans (priests or intellectual). Another consequence of monotheistic and polytheistic character of Islam and Hinduism correspondingly is the attitude to life and death and particularly a possible life after a physical death. Both Islam and Hinduism emphasize that each person has a body and soul and during our life they coexist with one another. But at the point what happens after a persons death Islam and Hinduism have different beliefs. For Muslims a physical death separates a persons body from soul and only his/her actions and faith in Allah during the life determine whether a person goes to Hell or Heaven and Islamic beliefs also presuppose the coming of a Day of Judgment when all humans from Adam to the last person, will be brought to a second life, rejoining of their body and soul (Warraq 1995, p. 112). Unlike Islam, Hinduism adepts believe that after a physical death the process of Reincarnation takes place. It means that a human soul returns to a body after death and this cycle may be repeated seven times. The status or caste of a person in the next life depends on the persons actions during the previous life. Thus, taking into account all above mentioned, I come to the conclusion that Islamic monotheism and Hindu polytheism, differ greatly despite the fact that they have some common ideas and beliefs such as body and soul, almightiness of either God or gods, etc. However, some researchers argue about their either mono- or polytheistic status Islam and Hinduism are traditionally perceived as monotheistic and polytheistic correspondingly because these religions have the most characteristic traits of monotheism and polytheism. Being different they have their particular impact on different aspects of human life, i.e. not only religious but also social and philosophical. They may be more (Hinduism) or less (Islam) tolerant in relation to other religions but still they exist and coexist during many centuries and despite all contradictions they represent a great historical, cultural and philosophical heritage of a great number of people.
